It’s that time of year again, the time to reflect on last year as it comes to a close, and look forward to a new year and a fresh start in 2014.
I thought it would be fitting to share some of my goal setting tips with you, so I hope you find them helpful! We are all super busy with the holidays upon us, so thank you for taking the time to read this – I will keep it short and sweet, promise! 😉
Tip #1: Set a maximum of three goals. It is difficult to focus on achieving your goals if you have too many of them in various directions, so play it safe and strive for just three goals at the most.
Tip #2: Once you set have your goals, create an action plan on how to get there. If it is a financial goal, break it down into monthly goals, or even weekly goals. Likewise, weight loss can be broken down into an achievable number of pounds or inches lost in a month’s time.
Tip #3: Don’t give up! These goals are for the whole year right? So when you get a bump in the road, don’t give up and throw in the towel. So many people quit by February just because they hit a stumbling block or got frustrated. Stay the course, and follow your action plan for the full year to ensure your success!
Have some goals you want to share? Or maybe you need help with an action plan on how to get there? Let’s talk about it in the comments!
I highly recommend you must read the eBook on what you need to have for starting a business in Tampa, I believe you’ll get a lot out of it. If you haven’t claimed yours, go and grab it now for free! See you inside – I can’t wait to start working with you! We’re better together!
